This is my latest fabric that I've had printed as part of my second year final major study using my repeat seagull pattern- I'm going to make it into pencil cases- exciting!!
Here is a repeat pattern that I made using my classy creatures seagull illustration. I'm going to experiment with the colours and then maybe have it printed onto fabric.
This is a print with the five characters that I developed for my final major study which I entitled 'classy creatures'. It will be on sale at the summer show!
Introducing Mr Seagull, Mr Seal, Mr Fox, Mr Giraffe and Mr Crocodile! These are my 'classy creatures' characters that I have been working on for my final major projectfor this year. With these characters I have made a new range of illustrated products- more blog posts to follow soon!
A fellow blogger brought some of my foxy coasters at the Illustration 109 shop a few weeks ago and she featured them on her blog with the photograph that she took below.
It's really nice to know that people are enjoying and making use of my illustrated products. See the full post here.
Today we have been setting up our summer show- still a little more work to do next week but you can definitely see it starting to take shape- exciting!
Here are my finished patterns that I made as part of my final major study. Each are A4 in size and hand drawn in pencil and then drawn in pen to finish- I'm pleased with the results and want to start a 'bank' of patterns that I can use in different situations. They took aaaaages though- the longest one took me 15 hours just to do the ink lines!
This was a mini project that we did leading up to our final major project at college. We had to design a label to go on to bags of sweets. We had a choice of sweets that we could use as our theme but we couldn't drawn the sweet itself- I chose 'crocodiles' as my theme. The end result had to be printed in greyscale and had to include hand lettering for the word 'sweets'. We had the choice of either mono-printing, dry point printing or lino printing and I chose to lino print mine.
